My first message is one of thanks to my family and friends! This virtual gallery and store would not be possible without the support of my sister Gail, as well as my wife Gail, our daughters, niece, and brother-in-law. Carmen's Images is a family business, and I could not have completed this project on my own; creating art is a solo endeavor, but running an online business requires a team. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! Thank you also to all of my friends who have helped me along this earthly journey.

I graduated with a BFA 41 years ago, not knowing what I would do with an art degree but with the experience of playing hockey for a university 1200 miles away in another country. I knew one thing for certain: I wanted to return to my hometown and help my community, get married, and start a family - so far, so good. I married my high school sweetheart forty years ago, we raised three wonderful daughters together, and I am still living in the same town and loving it (this sounds like a Hallmark movie lol). I have played old-timer hockey with my brothers and lifelong friends, I have worked in the non-profit sector to raise funds to better my community, and I am now retired. I am now a full-time artist, fulfilling a lifelong dream that I look forward to every day. I used to look forward to the weekend when I worked full-time, but now that I am retired, every day is a Saturday!
